Darkness refers to the failed attempts when you connect yourself to your internal thoughts. It is your belief’s mirror and it depicts the unknown. It does not refer to light’s absence but this thing refers to sad or pain or hurt soul and it means that you are not connected to the similar features of things around you, anymore... but you are connected with dark sight of this universe.
